Clean Edge shows where the clean jobs really are

Portland-based clean technology research firm Clean Edge Inc. last week announced the launch of an online map feature that shows job hunters where clean tech companies are hiring.

The map is a function of Clean Edge Jobs, a joint operation between Clean Edge and Hobbs & Towne Inc., an executive search firm specializing in clean technology with offices in San Francisco, London, New York and Philadelphia.

Available at the Web site, jobs.cleanedge.com, the function takes the postings from its existing job board and pinpoints their location across a Google map.

The Web site allows users to search using geographic terms and filtering by industry, job type, and position level. Employers can also search to view thousands of clean-tech job candidates worldwide.

The Clean Tech Jobs site is now in a beta period. For now job postings are free of charge, Clean Edge said in a news release.
