First of six charging stations opens in Lincoln City
Coulomb Technologies and the City of Lincoln City took the wraps of the first of six charging stations planned for the the coastal town of Lincoln City.
Open to the public, the Lincoln City charging stations will also be used for city fleet cars as they move to zero emission vehicles. Charge Northwest (www.chargenw.com) is the authorized distributor of ChargePoint Networked Charging Stations from Coulomb Technologies in the Northwest.
“We have identified three great locations where a charge can be done easily and quickly, while drivers enjoy the amenities of the immediate surrounding areas,” said Lincoln City Urban Renewal Director, Kurt Olsen. “In addition to the SW 51st Street location, two stations will be installed in north Lincoln City at the Community Center and two others in the center of town.”
Coulomb is also working with the city of Hillsboro to develop charging stations.
