TriMet ridership decline continues
TriMet’s ridership overall was down again in December.
There were 7.6 million trips taken on TriMet buses, MAX and WES during December, down 6.5 percent, compared with December 2008.
MAX ridership is up with the expansion of the new Green Line, but TriMet said the ongoing recession and double digit unemployment is still impacting other modes of travel.
