Better Living Show adds business focus
Energy-efficient home exhibit from the 2009 Better Living Show
The consumer-facing Energy Trust Better Living Show exposition, a showcase for energy efficiency and sustainable living products and services, is adding a business-to-business focus to its lineup this year.
The three-year-old show has a track record of being a meeting place for green-oriented businesses, so this year organizers have set aside a portion of the trade show floor for sustainable services companies looking to connect with business owners.
"Last year we had some business-to-business exhibitors but they were spread out," said Michael O'Loughlin whose company, Blue Ocean Events, organizes the show. "This year we have a one-stop destination."
The show, which runs this Friday and Saturday at the Portland Expo Center and is free to attend, will have exhibits and programs on everything from commercial solar installation to general green business tips.
Exhibitors in the business-to-business portion of the trade show floor include Columbia Soft, a document management company, an Earth Safe Event Signage business, and My Environmental Consultant, a supplier of outsourced expertise dealing with environmental regulations.
