Indow Windows takes custom approach to efficiency

Indow Window's simple solution to bring energy efficiency to the estimated 43 percent of homes that still have single-pane windows caught the attention of the judging panel for this season's Innovation in Sustainability Awards.
A visit to their airy warehouse manufacturing space across from the Gotham Tavern in North Portland uncovered a close-knit team — most of them artists on their off hours — working to make the custom process of building an Indow Window insert even more efficient.
