Sarah Costello will serve as vice president of the International Living Future Institute.
Sarah Costello has been named vice president of the International Living Future Institute. She will be in charge of business development and communications.
Costello, who joined the Cascadia Green Building Council in 2008, had been serving as a director with the same focus.
The promotion follows the year-end departure of Regina Hauser, longtime head of The Natural Step USA, which merged with the Cascadia Green Building Council last year. Cascadia, the Natural Step, the Living Building Challenge and Ecotone Publishing are all organizations under the International Living Future Institute, which was formed last April.
Costello will focus on relationships with members and funding for the nonprofit ILFI.
Costello has a bachelor’s in history from Reed College and a master’s in history from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
