Margi Hoffmann will start work as Gov. John Kitzhaber's energy adviser next week.
Gov. John Kitzhaber announced Monday that clean energy lobbyist Margi Hoffmann will serve as the Governor's energy policy adviser starting next week.
Hoffmann joins the Governor's office after serving as senior vice president for Strategies 360, a policy-related consulting firm where she worked extensively on clean energy policy and incentive issues. She ran operations for the firm's Portland office.
"Oregon is a leader in clean energy and in setting standards for our state, the region and the country. Through investment in energy conservation and homegrown renewable energy, we will put money back into the pockets of Oregonians and Oregon businesses," Hoffmann said in a press release.
Hoffmann starts work in Salem April 2.
