Attendees of the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network’s PubTalk event on Wednesday — including Strategies 360’s Jessica Hamilton Keys, at left with ponytail, were captivated to learn about developments in the electric vehicle industry.

Each month, the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network hosts a compelling event called, quite simply, PubTalk. Along with the requisite networking opportunities, the gatherings feature discussions with up-and-comers from hot industries such as, in last night's case, the electric vehicle sector.

The PubTalk, held at downtown Portland's Backspace coffeehouse and bar in conjunction with Drive Oregon, featured presentations from electric vehicle startup operators Mark Frohnmayer of Arcimoto and Greg Lemhouse of Brammo as well as Dexter Turner of OpConnect, a charghing infrastructure company.

Frohnmayer, Arcimoto's president and founder, detailed the latest developments with his company's SRK three-wheeled vehicles line. Lemhouse, with a gorgeous Empulse electric motorcycle behind him, talked of how Brammo is targeting the law enforcement community as possible customers.

Turner, OpConnect's president and CEO, noted that his charging system will eventually help provide venues for drivers to plug in any time their EVs need juice.

Sustainable Business Oregon contributor Lee van der Voo will file a complete analysis of the presentation later this week. For now, click above for a glimpse at who attended Wednesday's OEN EV PubTalk.
