EV Roadmap event focuses on those behind the wheel

The Drive Oregon EV Roadmap conference takes place July 30 and 31.
As the dog days approach in earnest, the groups putting on the EV Roadmap conference are preparing to bring on some heat of their own.
The EV Roadmap conference, which takes place July 30 and 31st, will focus on drivers themselves. Programs will examine issues related to vehicle charging, the driving experience and ways that employers can provide EV services.
Portland General Electric, Portland State University and Drive Oregon lead the event's planning and event sponsorship. (SBO is a program sponsor).
Other topics at the event include glimpses into fast-emerging technologies such as mobile phones and ATM banking networks that also play a growing role in the EV world.
The EV Roadmap will also featured exhibits from the likes of Arcimoto, Honda, Tesla Trips and Toyota.
The conference takes place at the Portland's World Trade Center, 121 S.W. Salmon St. Edison Electric Institute is the event's title sponsor.
