We can't wait until tomorrow

Joe Namath titled his early 1970s autobiography “I Can’t Wait Until Tomorrow.” He subtitled it, “‘Cause I Get Better Looking Every Day.”
Well, I, too, can’t wait until tomorrow’s Portland Business Journal comes out because, like Joe Willie, it will indeed be better looking.
Not to mention, just better. And it’s bringing SBO, which is a part of the PBJ, along with it. Our changes not only include a complete redesign of the print edition (including the pages that include mostly fresh batches of SBO stories weekly), we’re changing several other aspects of our product. Suzanne Stevens, our Web editor, has more details here, but what excites me most is the paper will feature in-depth pieces that display our reporters’ and editors’ chops (Matt Kish has some serious scoops in our “debut” revamped issue) while we continue to shift our focus to breaking news, as well as analyzing it, online.
It’s good stuff. And I, indeed, can’t wait until tomorrow. But, to paraphrase Broadway Joe, it’s because we’re getting better every day.
