By Cathy Cheney
Tchavdar "Chevy" Marinov is a master welder at Zen Bicycle Fabrication. He's been in the business for 16 years.
Zen Bicycle Fabrication opened its doors in Portland three months ago, bringing together a team of bike building experts at a time that happened to coincide with the region's largest bike fabricator closing its doors.
The result? Some pretty brisk growth for Zen.
Portland Business Journal's Erik Siemers took a close look at Zen's business, which works with a variety of bike companies to build prototypes and produce custom models.
