Colorado gets $6M for green jobs (Denver)
Colorado will receive $5,998,050 through the federal stimulus program for worker training in emerging industries, including the renewable-energy industry.
The funds come from the U.S. Department of Labor under its State Energy Sector Partnership and Training Grants program and are being received by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, U.S. Sens. Mark Udall and Michael Bennet said Wednesday in a joint statement.
