Duke Energy survey find customers care more about cost (Cincinnati)
A recent
Duke Energy survey of consumers in Ohio and Kentucky indicates people are more concerned about how much they pay for electricity than how their use of it affects the environment.
About 39 percent of those questioned cited “reasonable cost” as being most important. Only 7 percent said “environmental impact” was their top personal concern. They also ranked it well behind “reliability” (33 percent) and “conservation” (20 percent) among four options posed by pollsters.
