Ecotality develops EV recharging software (Phoenix)
Ecotality Inc. has developed Web-based software to enable electric vehicle owners to control how their vehicle is charged.
The software was created by the Scottsdale company’s subsidiary, Electric Transportation Engineering Corp. in Phoenix. It is designed to accompany the thousands of chargers Ecotality and eTec will distribute as part of a nearly $100 million federal grant to spur the adoption of electric vehicles.
eTec is building out EV charging stations in Oregon and four other states as part of the EV Project.
