Electric cars on display in Detroit

The Think City and Nissan Electric LEAF were on display in Detroit at the annual auto show which cranked up this week. Both electric models have been prominent in Oregon headlines in the past year with Think flirting with the idea of basing its U.S. manufacturing in the state (the Oslo-based company ultimately chose Indiana) and Nissan North America committing to a pilot project for getting charging stations up and running across the state.

In Detroit, the City and the LEAF share the spotlight with a cute, bulbous Electric Fiat 500 and a concept electric car based on the BMW 1 Series Coupe.
