Clean Power Finance sells a software platform for managing solar projects to installers, manufacturers and distributors.
Founded in 2006, the San Francisco-based software company has 5,000 registered users and 28 employees. It raised a $6.9 million round of venture capital โ its first โ earlier this month.
CPF sells software that gives businesses detailed and up-to-date information on utility rates, incentives and rebates, customer leads and technology solutions such as 3-D images of customer roofs that installers can use to design systems. It also allows businesses to automatically generate customized proposals that tally costs for prospective customers.
