Nexamp lands $6.5M in venture capital (Boston)

Nexamp Inc., a renewable-energy systems installer, has raised $6.5 million in a new round of venture capital.

The Somerville, Mass.-based company lists as its chairman Henri-Claude Bailly, CEO of clean energy investment firm RCG Ventures LLC of Boston. David Martirano, a general partner at Point Judith Capital, also is listed as a company director. Martirano confirmed that Point Judith is a Nexamp backer, adding that Michael Ware has joined the board representing new investor Good Energies.
