The link between smart grids and solar power

An article in The Energy Collective explores this idea and makes the case that the smart grid that a tandem effort should be made to both develop renewable energy systems in tandem with the smarter grid that will enable more end-user control and the capability to have community-scale power systems feed the grid with local renewable assets.
