American Superconductor wins $70M wind turbine deal (Boston)
Power systems components maker American Superconductor Corp. has won a $70 million initial order from China’s Shenyang Blower Works Co. Ltd. for wind-turbine electrical control systems.
The technologies will support wind turbines co-developed by American Superconductor’s subsidiary, AMSC Windtec.
