Avista delays some renewable projects (Puget Sound)

Energy company Avista Corp. said it will hold off on developing some of its renewable energy projects for a few years.

The Spokane utility (NYSE: AVA) said one of the projects it’s putting on hold is the Reardan project, a large new wind farm to be located about 25 miles west of Spokane. That plan’s on hold until 2014 or 2015, Avista said.
