Calisolar raises $22.5M, buys 6N Silicon (San Jose)
Calisolar Inc. announced Thursday that it raised $22.5 million in funding and acquired 6N Silicon Inc.
Sunnyvale-based Calisolar is a solar cell manufacturer; Ontario-based 6N Silicon is a supplier for the solar industry.
The acquisition was completed through a stock-for-stock transaction between the two privately held companies.
