Cleantech Open to merge with Boston's ICE (San Francisco)
The Cleantech Open, a business competition, will merge with a similar organization in Boston, the Ignite Clean Energy Competition, or ICE.
ICE was started in 2004 and is sponsored by the MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge Inc. It’s considered the first cleantech business plan competition.
The Cleantech Open, based in Redwood City, started in 2006. It holds competitions for business plans that deal with energy, environmental and economic issues.
