Duke Enegy CEO wants energy policy (Charlotte)
Duke Enery Corp. CEO Jim Rogers wants to recast the debate over federal cap-and-trade legislation as a broader issue of energy and environmental policy with a healthy dose of job creation.
Rogers made that pitch in meetings with congressmen, White House officials and the media in Washington Tuesday. And he reiterated his views Wednesday at an energy conference at Wake Forest University.
