Mercury Solar Systems buys Eos Energy (Philadelphia)
Solar energy contractor Eos Energy Solutions was bought by Mercury Solar Systems Inc. for an undisclosed sum last week but the two companies waited until Tuesday to announce the deal.
Eos is based in Center City Philadelphia. Mercury Solar is based in Port Chester, N.Y.
Eos will operate as the Pennsylvania division of Mercury and be led by Andrew Kleeman, who founded it in May 2007.
