Spain's Ingeteam to establish plant in Milwaukee
Spain-based Ingeteam, a supplier to the wind and solar energy industries, will establish a new plant in Milwaukee that's expected to create "hundreds of jobs," it was announced Monday morning.
Gale Klappa, chairman president and CEO of Wisconsin Energy Corp. of Milwaukee and a member of the board and the executive committee of the Greater Milwaukee Committee, said that the firm has selected Milwaukee for its first plant in the United States. Klappa made the announcement at Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett's State of the City address.
