EnerNOC acquires Colorado firm SmallFoot (Boston)

EnerNOC Inc., a provider of energy-management technologies and services, has acquired SmallFoot LLC, a Colorado-based developer of energy technologies for small commercial sites.

The acquisition is expected to help lower the cost of deploying and expanding market share for a suite of EnerNOC products. The Boston-based company’s chief operating officer, Darren Brady, noted in a press release that the addition of SmallFoot also helps EnerNOC reduce costs associated with infrastructure and data acquisition for the small commercial market.

The deal’s terms were not disclosed.
