Enphase Energy raises $40M (San Francisco)
Petaluma’s Enphase Energy raised $40 million in equity funding in a round led by Bay Partners.
The company makes solar microinverter systems.
Horizon Technology Finance, Bridge Bank (NASDAQ: BBNK), Third Point Ventures, RockPort Capital Partners, Madrone Capital Partners and Applied Ventures LLC also invested.
Sanjeev Kumar is Enphase’s chief financial officer, hired last month. Paul Nahi is president and CEO.
