International Paper launches environmental site (Memphis)
International Paper Co. has launched a new company Web site that will serve as an information base on environmental issues and trends in the paper and printing industries.
The site, down2earthonline.com, features information from the Down to Earth series of brochures International Paper produces. The brochures will be available on the new site and provide information on how the paper industry contributes to the growth of forests.
According to a company statement, the Down to Earth educational series “presents a balanced and fact-driven picture in a thought-provoking manner” on the impact of the paper industry on forests.
