Ikea plans 600 kilowatts of solar on Arizona roof
Ikea is planning two 300-kilowatt solar systems on the roof of its Tempe store, which would be one of the largest installations in the Phoenix area.

The company contracted with Gloria Solar to install the units beginning next month at the 342,000-square-foot store.
“We are very excited about furthering our sustainability commitment by installing solar panels on our store,” said Robby Wierman, Ikea Tempe store manager.
