Renewable Funding expands (San Francisco)

After its recent San Francisco launch, Oakland-based Renewable Funding said this week it will support programs in Santa Fe County, N.M., Santa Barbara County, Calif., and throughout the state of Louisiana.

Renewable Funding designs, finances and manages PACE programs across the country. PACE stands for Property Assessed Clean Energy and refers to a mechanism by which municipalities allow residents and business owners to borrow against their property taxes to fund energy efficiency and renewable energy upgrades, and then pay for those upgrades through their property taxes over 20 years.
