Pythagoras unveils 'solar windows' (San Francisco)
Pythagoras Solar in San Mateo unveiled a "solar window" this week: a glass panel that lets light into a building while also generating power.
The company, born from the Precede Technologies incubator in Israel, was started by Gonen Fink and Itay Baruchi in 2007 and 2008. Fink is CEO and Baruchi is chief technology officer.
For now, Pythagoras will sell the solar windows, or “photovoltaic glass units” for sue in building curtain walls or skylights.
