Boston Red Sox sign conservation partner

The Boston Red Sox have tapped Solar Blue LLC as the team’s "official energy conservation partner," the Red Sox said on Monday.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

As part of the deal, Orlando, Fla.-based Solar Blue’s logos and signage will be displayed at Fenway Park. The energy conservation company will also help the 98-year old ballpark come up with various ways to conserve energy.

“As a leader in providing cutting-edge energy solutions to our clients, we couldn’t be happier than to associate our brand with another true category leader, the Boston Red Sox, one of the most well known and well respected brands in all of sport,” said Solar Blue Chief Executive Lee Maher, in statement.
