Enphase Energy raises $23M (San Francisco)
Enphase Energy Inc. raised another $23 million in its latest round of venture funding.
Combined with an earlier $40 million raised in March, that makes $63 million total for this round.
The Petaluma business makes solar energy microconverters — devices to boost the efficiency of residential and commercial solar power projects.
Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers gave money in this round and put Ben Kortlang on Enphase’s board of directors.
