Cleantech backers fund anti-Prop. 23 ads (San Jose)
California cleantech investors are reportedly pouring millions into an advertising campaign to defeat a ballot question that would delay the state's emission control regulations.
Bloomberg reports that Tom Steyer, founder of San Francisco-based hedge fund Farallon Capital Management LLC, and John Doerr of Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers are among those backing the campaign.
