SunPower moves to $6.2M Q2 loss
SunPower Corp. on Tuesday reported second quarter net loss of $6.2 million, or 6 cents a share, compared to net income in the same quarter last year of $14.3 million, or 15 cents a share.
San Jose-based SunPower (NASDAQ:SPWRA) (NASDAQ:SPWRB) had revenue of $384.2 million, up from the year-ago quarter's $299.3 million.
Excluding items, the company would have earned 15 cents a share, compared to non-GAAP earnings of 9 cents a share in the second quarter of 2009.
Analysts expected, on average, earnings of 10 cents a share on $401.16 million in revenue.
