W.R. Grace wins $3.3M grant for renewable fuels (Baltimore)
W.R. Grace & Co. will receive grants worth up to $3.3 million for research developing renewable gasoline, diesel and jet fuels.
The award is part of a $16.5 million biomass research and development initiative of the U.S. Department of Energy.
Columbia-based W.R. Grace (NYSE: GRA) is one of four biofuel developers to receive $12 million in grants. The other $4.5 million is going to projects developing renewable feed for livestock.
