Seattle's Powerit Solutions raises $5M
Powerit Solutions said it's named Matthew Schiltz its new CEO and announced that it’s raised $5 million in investor funding.
The Seattle company’s technology lets users take a series of strategic, predetermined steps to trim power demand at key times without hurting productivity, according to a June 2009 profile of the company in the Puget Sound Business Journal.
Schiltz was most recently the CEO and president of DocuSign. He will serve as head of Powerit Solutions' international operations and will also sit on the board of directors.
“I’m excited to be leading Powerit Solutions —a dynamic, growing clean tech firm that is well out of the gate,” Schiltz said in a statement.
Powerit Solutions said it raised the $5 million from five funds, led by new investor Black Coral Capital of New York, and four other existing investors.
