Solar Power lands contract for New Jersey resort installations

Solar Power Inc. of Roseville, Calif., is set to build another large-scale solar project in connection with its preferred provider agreement with KDC Solar LLC of Bedminster, N.J.

Solar Power (OTCBB: SOPW) has entered into an engineering, procurement and construction agreement with a subsidiary of KDC Solar to design and build multiple solar energy facilities for KDC at the Mountain Creek Resort and Grand Cascades Golf Resort in Vernon, N.J.

KDC Solar will own and operate the solar power plants. The facilities will include a mixture of fixed ground mount and custom designed solar parking canopies and car ports at three separate sites at the resort.

The projects will provide more than 8 million kilowatt-hours of solar electricity generation per year to help power the resort’s operations.
