Electric cars on display in San Francisco
The Fisker Karma is among the cars on display at EV Week in San Francisco.
EV Week kicked off in San Francisco Monday with electric car events at AT&T Park and Justin Herman Plaza.
San Francisco Mayor Ed Lee said San Francisco would be the electric vehicle capital of the world.
Among the electric and hybrid vehicles on display was the Fisker Karma (plug-in hybrid), complete with integrated solar roof, a Tesla Roadster that members of car-sharing service Get Around can rent for $500 a day, the Rav4 all-electric SUV, the BMW all-electric ActivE, Coda's all-electric vehicle, the Prius and the Nissan Leaf.
