Westly Group raises $160M cleantech fund
Former California Controller Steve Westly's venture firm has finished raising money for a $160 million cleantech fund.
The venture fund led by former California Controller Steve Westly said on Tuesday that it has completed raising money for a $160 million cleantech fund.
The Menlo Park VC firm fell short of the $175 million target it set when it started raising money for the fund in December 2010 but it has been a tough climate for cleantech.
Westly announced the news in a Tweet on Twitter on Tuesday.
