What is the Sustainable Business Oregon Network?
SBO Network is a bimonthly mixer/seminar series for sustainability managers, green team leaders, change agents and small business owners held in Portland.
The Network creates a platform for sharing ideas, discussing best practices and inspiring one another with victories, small and large. Our aim is to accelerate Oregon's leadership in sustainable business by creating an organized, collaborative community.

Last time:
The last SBO Network was held on January 19th, 2012. We invited a panel of local energy heavy hitters to discuss Oregon's energy future, including opportunities, roadblocks, technologies and trends.
The panel featured the following:

- Ocean Yuan, CEO of Grape Solar, a company in the middle of the U.S. Solar industry's trade dispute with China.
- Dave Robertson, Portland General Electric's Vice President of Public Policy will talk about the outlook for PGE's energy mix.
- Michael Jung, Policy Director of Silver Spring Networks, a leading player in smart grid development and point person on Gov. John Kitzhaber's 10-year Energy Plan.
